Murano, Burano and Torcello

FROM 13 JUNE TO 12 SePTEMBER 2010 - WEDNESDAY – FRIDAY - SUNDAY

Departure is guaranteed with a minimum of 20 participants.

Island of Murano famous worldwide for its valuable glass.
Island of Burano is famous for its lace and colorful houses of the fishermen.
Island of Torcello is the first inhabited island by the Venetians and has two ancient Byzantine churches.

TIMETABLE

• 9:00 am: Leaving from Sottomarina (Union Island )
• Navigation in the Venetian Lagoon along the coast Pellestrina and Lido of Venice, to the island of Murano.
• Stop about 1 hour to visit a glass factory with a demonstration of glass.
• Continue to Burano, parking for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes for visiting the island, famous for lace and colorful houses.
• Lunch.
• Continue to Torcello, parking for approximately 50 minutes to visit the cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the Church of Santa Fosca.
• about 18.30 pm: Arrival in Sottomarina
